Meditation and the help it gives the body

Your subconscious kicks in during the night and is allowed to come out to play. It needs that but you can actually reach your subconscious while you are awake if you learn about different methods of meditation. These don’t have to be pie in the sky trendy things to do. Meditation goes back centuries and has been used to help people center themselves so that they create a balance between the mind and the body.

Simple meditation methods that work for busy minds are mindfulness meditation and focused meditation. Mindful meditation means that you make yourself consciously aware of all the activities that you do in your life. For example, when you eat – you chew your food thoroughly and enjoy all the textures and tastes. When you breathe, you feel the air entering your body and feel it when you exhale. You are aware of the moment in which you currently are and don’t let past thoughts clutter your brain or worries about tomorrow because it may never happen. You can close your eyes and simply enjoy being you. That brings the subconscious out to play more often and makes you very happy inside.
